Bailey is growing!

I can't believe that Bailey is already 8 weeks old. She is smiling at us all the time and as Gage would say "I think she said her first word!" She also makes little noises when we talk to her. They become little people so fast. She is on a pretty good schedule now only waking once a night. She has already been on her first road trip to Atlanta 2 weeks ago when we went there to see the Jonas Brothers concert for Caitlyn's 9th birthday. We had so much fun and I think Mima had fun babysitting. I'm sure Bailey enjoyed herself because she wouldn't sleep much in a new place. Too many things to look at!

The other kids are all in school now......Cameron has started his 2nd year of college at Wake Tech and wants to be a police officer. He is taking some very interesting classes like interrogations. He comes to visit once in a while when Ashley is not in town :)

Megan is loving middle school which is a first for her because she has never liked school. They have a school dance coming up this month so they will be a new experience. Michael says she can go with a group of girls. (remember the day she was born he said she couldn't date til she was 30) She is taking guitar lessons and on a volleyball team.

Caitlyn is the big sister at the elementary school. She is in 4th grade and takes care of Gage on the bus and walks him to class. Gage says "I can find my class by myself." Caitlyn uses it as an excuse to visit everyone down that hall including past teachers. She's my social butterfly! Oh, you already knew that because of how much she talks. As you can guess, she won't be getting a cell phone for a LONG time. She is also a cheerleader for a local football team. She loves it! She is also still in Girl Scouts.

Gage loves Kindergarten unless you ask him and then he will say "It's okay" but when he gets home from school, he competes with Caitlyn to tell me about his day. He loves his art class and is so proud of his work. The other day he asked me "When is my teacher gonna teach me to read?" I guess he is bored with the letters. He just started tackle football and is excited about his first game this weekend. I'm not too happy since it starts at 9am on Saturday. It will be fun though - back to childhood memories of being on the football field as a cheerleader.

Love the weather here - 70s and time for football season.............
